By vehicle from Matzendorf to Obere Waengi. During the local club bus service it is forbidden to drive to the launch site in a private vehicle (bus service during the season also during the week!). The right to launch on the Obere Wengi requires every pilot to visit the mountain restaurant. The ascent to the launch site leads below the stable. The ascent above the stable is not permitted. Before passing the stables, you should make yourself heard by shouting so as not to frighten the horses. The launch site is an ideal meadow behind the farm. A good starting point for cross-country flights. Level grass launch not far from the restaurant. In westerly to north-westerly winds, the launch site is downwind and launching can be dangerous.
