Verbier Paragliding Sites

1- and 2-seater Altitude 2165m

By car from Verbier via Les Esserts and Les Planards to the pass. The starting point is a moderately steep terrain with bushes. You can get there by car (Les Esserts). Good for top landing. Ideal for groundhandling in the late afternoon. ATTENTION: the official Verbier mountain landing site is located directly behind the ridge! 1- and 2-seater Altitude 2200m

Medium-steep meadow south of the summit (couloir). Walk: about 40 minutes from Tracouet. Altitude 2433m

Take-off is located on the left a� the exit of the cable car. In winter, take off a� left of the teleski arrival. In summer, take-off on the arrival place of the cable car or ski slope downstream. Attention a� the new CTR of Sion extended since May 1, 2007. The landing of the locks is located in the CTR. Please respect the derogations given by SKYGUIDE. You will refer to the panels on the take-offs or the map available at www.lagopedes.ch More information on +4179/301.33.03 In winter the starting point is exactly at the exit of the drag lift (on the east side), thus between the two lifts. The main difficulty of the launch site is the nearby lift, so please pay attention to the exact wind direction. 1- and 2-seater Altitude 2200m

From Fully, go up the road to Buitonnaz and turn off towards Planuit/les Garettes shortly after the village of Euloz. At the crossroads of Planuit, continue on the right road, pass 2 hairpins and park the car at a place which is located directly above the last chalets. Take the footpath that goes flat towards Chiboz. The deco is 200m further on. Steep slope. Well fed as soon as the sun arrives. Beware of the valley wind that comes in through. There is no official landing. Respect the work of the farmers. Beware of the very inconspicuous cable that connects the village of Chiboz to the "la botzache" dump in Mazembroz. By vehicle to Buitonne from there on foot on the paved road to the launch site. Caution: transport cables located at the bottom of the village of Chiboz, and electric cables between Buitonne and Chiboz. Altitude 1050m

By car from Fully via Chibo, Randonne to l Erie. From there on foot to the starting point (via reservoir). The starting place is a meadow in the middle. Altitude 2080m
