Walking time approx. 10-15 min: From the Seegrube middle station, take the eastern exit from the station and follow the path across the scree field. After the scree field there is a short section of steep terrain - then you reach a small flat area from where the path continues northwards. From here you can start anywhere to the north. From the middle station of the cable car (Seegrube) at the restaurant, head west past the chairlift (approx. 150 m) and up the slope to the first small plateau (approx. 50 m)! There you will find the south-facing launch site. Watch out for the avalanche barriers to the west and the blasting rope to the east of the launch site. Directly above the small ledge in front of the launch site, thermals are released. When strong thermals develop in spring, you should take off early (before 12:30 pm), as the thermals suck in a lot of air masses and otherwise you will have a tailwind at the launch site.
