Tenerife Paragliding Sites

Very beautiful site and unforgettable flight towards the beach but it is not harmless to fly there in spite of the sun and the sea. Increase your safety margins with respect to other gliders and the terrain. Plan B or C to land safely and not in the cactus or on the big rocks. Indeed, we fly under the wind of Teide and often the wind at altitude (1000 m or more) comes from the north or northeast and yet it takes off thanks to the breeze. Take off only if ALL the upper windsocks and the lower flames are in the same direction! And only take off if there is a crowd, otherwise danger! The local tandem pilots can give you more information. Be careful with the preflight and the fine lines that can get stuck in the carpet. Large area with astroturf laid and easy gradient. The wind often comes onto this slope even when the high level winds are from the NE. The non-flyable symbol on this app is not therefore reliable. One of the most frequented sites on Teneriffa. Good access by car. Very large space on the mountain. No grass, carpets for takeoff. Small, easy and fun soaring; the only site of this orientation on the Costa Adeje. Beware of the wind, which can get stronger at the tip. In this case, go back to the relief. Easy, slightly steep slope. Easy to decorate or to rest on the beach, which is not huge at high tide. Access after 10'' of easy walking.
