Often, there are students flying from the T/O and a restriction is imposed to allow the tandems and students to have first priority. There is lots of area above the road directly above the lift station for all other users. Its a 5 minute walk up, but worth it. The highest launch site on the Elfer (approx. 2,080m). Once here, you already have a great view of the Elferhütte. In winter, when skiing is in operation, you can easily take the T-bar lift from the Elfer mountain station (1,790m) to the upper launch site. Either normal skis or Figl (short cut-off skis) are suitable for this. Also recommended in summer. Wonderful place to enjoy the sunset! Altitude 2026m
