From chairlift wlk about 10mins downhill to TO.Thermals start quite early.Nicely sloped meadow; space for 4 or 5 PG's. The natural start is about 10 minutes below the mountain station. Southeast launch site below the mountain station. Simple airfield in the heart of East Tyrol. It is ideal for beginners. But beautiful thermal flights are also possible here at any time. Red Bull Dolomitenmann launch Gain as much altitude on the single trail as you can to make sure you can fly out from the valley without touching the trees. It's not a launch place; only consider taking off if you're training for Red Bull Dolomitenmann. Absolutely not for beginners. Best if you reach the launch in the morning, while the sun's shining from the east. At least 3 hours hike from the highest parking place. Alpine terrain! Hiking equipment highly recommended.
