Gourdon Paragliding Sites

Take the D3. At Pré du Lac: towards Gourdon about 4 km after Pré du Lac, take the road on the right for 1 km, opposite a concrete cistern, 1500 m after the quarry hairpin bend. Follow the route de la colle towards the gorges du loup. Take the descending road on the left. Cross the bridge. Go straight up to the right along the roads towards the Bar sur Loup cemetery. Follow the cemetery on the left. Climb through the woods, past the pipeline, and up through the slope to the East stepping stones. Flight under Nice TMA (FL65) On landing at Les Valettes: possibility of lowering the vehicle only to retrieve the folded wings. 1- and 2-seater 1- and 2-seater Altitude 643m

Access on foot only to the main take-off ("Le 300"). Time 30mn blue signposting or 20mn yellow signposting. For the takeoff of the 600 or the 700 access either on foot from the village 90mn, or from Greolieres les neiges resort 50 mn. Le Puet take-off can be reached from the main road with a 10-minute slightly uphill walk. Airshields and an information board are in place on the take-off air. It's south-facing, so you can fly from west to east, depending on the breeze. Dangerous in the North. Recommendations: There is a gradient at the take-off exit, with a westerly tendency on the right-hand side (when taking off). Not suitable for novice pilots without guidance. Have located the La Chapelle Sainte Luce landing before take-off. Essential precaution: Beware of Erodium de Rodié, an endemic flower, do not leave the trail. Do not leave the paths, as there is an endemic species, the Erodium de Rhodée. Do not cut trees, make fires or do anything else that could harm the flora and fauna. Park in the parking lot under the antenna (200 m to the left before the Pas de la Faye). The trail starts to the west of the parking lot (sign visible). Watch out for fast-moving vehicles as you leave the parking lot and return to the Route Napoléon. See Saint Luce chapel landing. Altitude 1004m
