From Engelberg by cable car to Ristis. From there take the chairlift to the Brunnihuette. From there, follow the path towards Rugghubel on foot to the starting point. The launch site is a steep hilly meadow. Altitude 1740m

From Engelberg, take the cable car to Ristis. From there, take the chairlift to Brunnihuette. From there, walk in a north-easterly direction to Schonegg. The launch site is a moderately steep meadow. Moderately steep gully, which can be seen from the mountain station on the right. The further up you go, the more likely you are to get into the thermals. On good days, it is also possible from below. Reachable in approx. 30 minutes. The ground is partly rocky. If there is strong thermal activity, be prepared for very turbulent air immediately after the start. In Engelberg the newly built cable car to the Brunni starts. Afterwards the well-known chairlift takes you to the Brunnihütte. The southwest launch site is located directly west of the Brunnihütte. By foot you reach the south launch site, which is a few metres above the Brunnihütte. Already from the chairlift you can see the lowest starting place on the right hand side, facing southwest. From Engelberg by car to the Fuerenalpbahn valley station. From the top station, head northwest to the launch site. The launch site is a large, moderately steep meadow. Starting point for cross-country flights. There is room for everyone on the slope used for training. Very inviting meadow above the mountain station 'Fürenalpbahn' (up to the left, past the alpine hut and up to the windsock). The starting point is a huge meadow flank, approx. 30 minutes' walk uphill from the mountain station. With the 8 person cable car it goes to the bargain price 900 altitude meters over the landing place. Once we arrive at the top, there is nothing against a little refreshment in the mountain restaurant, as afterwards there is a little walk with bag and baggage to the starting place. 10 minutes uphill, Swiss timing well remembered! As a foreigner, you should reckon with a factor of 3. Those who have spent too much on the ascent can spread out and relax on a wonderful sunny meadow "starting place" in full length. Does the flight end any sooner than planned? Don't break a leg! A good butterfly can be back at the valley station in 10 minutes using the appropriate folding technique. Prerequisite: the lovely dairy cows on the landing field have left some textile on the lines. From Engelberg by gondola and cable car to the Kleintitlis. From there 150m to the east to the foot of the summit structure and then over the west ridge to the launch site. The launch site is a large, medium-steep firn field. Caution: The Titlis is a high alpine area, so pay particular attention to the weather. Stable high pressure conditions promise the best conditions for a start. 676100/180170 From the mountain station, first cross to the foot of the summit structure in 30 minutes and then via the western ridge to the summit pyramid. Start on a medium-steep firn field, which always presents itself differently depending on the temperature and weather conditions. Alternatively, hike to the beginning of the summit pyramid (approx. 200 meters), then leave the path to the left and start between the Titlis-Rotair cable car and the Ice-Flyer, directly below the path on the moderately steep snow field. Important to know: There are power lines between the valley station and the glacier, but they are too low to cause any disturbance. The launch site is a small, moderately steep meadow. Well protected flying area Immediately beside farmhouse at the gondola station. From Wolfenschiessen with the cable car to the Braendlen. 6 min ride, 2 cabins with 4 persons, Fr. 10.- for a ride up the mountain (cash must be deposited in the correct place), Fr. 45.- for a 5-person subscription, Fr. 95.- for a 10-person subscription (subscriptions available at the flight school), in operation year-round from 08.00 to 20.00, automatic self-service (follow instructions). Use only from October to March, or when the windbag is installed! The launch site is a medium steep meadow. The launch site is only a few minutes' walk on a steep meadow southeast of the mountain station. To enjoy the sunset atmosphere the Brändlen above Wolfenschiessen offers itself. Comfortably you can soar towards the darkness. From 15 o'clock the valley wind should stand on the mountain. The start becomes difficult if the valley wind is too strong or the combination of valley wind and embedded thermals pushes the slope up by force.
