1. take-offs may only be carried out in suitable weather conditions which ensure that the trees below are safely flown over. Crosswind starts with lee conditions are not permitted.
2. paragliding starts must take place below the fence, to the left or right of the hang-glider ramp.
3. training flights are only permitted in moderate wind conditions (e.g. no strong east wind, no strong valley wind, no thermally turbulent conditions).
Terrain-specific conditions (starts with E-climbing aid, parcel 1744/1)
1. in principle, the conditions and requirements of the General Decree of the Government of Upper Bavaria (published in the Upper Bavarian Official Gazette No. 25/14.12.2012) shall apply.
2. starts with electric drive may only be carried out under suitable weather conditions.
3. in the case of electric power take-offs, ensure that there are no hang-gliders or paragliders in the landing approach.
4. during the ascent phase, hang gliders and paragliders shall be avoided without the use of an electrical ascent aid. The ascent area shall be chosen so that other pilots are not obstructed or disturbed in their landing approach.
5. no localities may be flown over during the ascent.
6. it must be ensured that the electric motor is only used for the starting process (ascent).
7. the pilot must be instructed in the type of start E-drive (entry pilot licence).
8. on landing, the pilot with the electric propulsion switched off shall be included in the landing procedure followed.
