Take-off direction: W-SW
The launch site is a relatively short, steep grassy slope, directly at the windsock at 1470 m, above the summit cross. Crosswinds can cause dangerous empty rotors!!! You should only launch from the front when the wind is perfect. From the other side of the slope you can rarely take off to the S-SE-E (flat meadow, but somewhat obstructed by trees).

1. the "Kräherwand" (to the east) and the "Kellerwand" (to the south) of the Hirschberg summit may only be flown over with take-off superelevation.
2. take-offs from Hirschberg are only permitted in a westerly direction.
3. in order to avoid disturbing grouse, take-offs from the Spieser take-off site (parcel 818, coordinates N 47°31'38'', E 10°23'23'') during the mating season from March 1 to May 31 may only take place from 9 a.m. until sunset.
A p p l i c a t i o n s (landing site bus station)
1. the approach (position) must always be to the south.
2. the final approach must be in a westerly or easterly direction parallel to the road.
3. sufficient safety distance from the road must be maintained.
