Monte Cucco 1
The main take-off area is also the main landing area. Top landings are made here. Hang gliders take off and land at the northern end of the launch site, paragliders take off and land at the southern end. The only disturbing thing are the cows that sometimes wander across the meadow and leave their tracks. The path is signposted from Sigillo with a huge board. The take off is situated at 40 minutes from the town of Ayacucho. On a hilltop at 3500 m that's named after the town that lays behind. 'Campanallo'. The Takeoff has a triangle shaped area and lays just above the road that's takes you there. It's facing north from where the wind usely comes all year around. Altitude 3509m

Monte Subasio 4
The Subasio is a large ridge with the main starting direction west and southwest. Great terrain over Assisi. Beautiful soaring in the evening with gentle thermals. Top landing is quite possible here. The official landing site is located south of San Vitale (Radio Subasio). XC flights west towards Bastia Umbra are not possible because of the CTR Assisi / Perugia. There are several shuttles on the Subasio. In principle, east and north starts are possible. However, the landing sites are not official. Often turbulent conditions in easterly winds. Drive with your own car via Spello or Assisi. The road changes into a gravel road in the summit area, but is well passable. Assisi is culturally interesting. Fontanile 1
Lots of space everywhere around the gravel road. Castelluccio is one of the most popular areas in Umbria / Central Italy. Appreciated by hang gliders and paragliders. The start at the Fontanile / Castelluccio is often used in the morning. The Forca di Presta is rather the afternoon launch site. The landscape of the plateau offers a special charm. There are several starting places in Castelluccio. The practice slope in the middle is ideal for training. The terrain is very thermal and therefore very demanding, especially at noon. In the evening it can be super soaren and fly. In Castelluccio there are restaurants and quarters. The village is known for its delicious lentils.
