At the south end of the Mont Dore ridge, altitude 400m.
Le Mont Dore is a site that combines the pleasures of walking with those of flying. Allow a good half-hour's walk on a path laid out by a few cardio afficionados.
You can leave your car in the "L'Hibiscus" retirement home parking lot just outside the landing area, or at the entrance to the pathway leading to the take-off.
The Le Mont Dore site can be flown with west to south winds, but is ideal for south-westerly winds. It's perfect after a day of very light winds.
In the evening, the rendition will envelop you in a soft velvet and you'll climb to the slow but constant sound of your vario. All this while gazing at the sun setting behind Nouméa.
What else?
We're very closely watched by the planes that fly here.
Our flight envelope is as follows: 200 m / ground above the terrain when on the massif. However, do not exceed the height of the summit.
