The takeoff is on a bluff overlooking a long beach, at about 100 metres elevation. It's accessible by any vehicle, although it's not so easy to find... You can get to it from the sugarcane fields above the village of Teniya. As of April 2019, there is a wire fence surrounding the sugarcane field. Look for a spot along the wire fence where you can open portions of the fence (it's not a proper gate, it's more like a gap you have to open in the fence). Be courteous to the land owner and be sure to close the fence behind you.
During the spring, this site becomes very overgrown with grass making it easy to lose your footing on the steep launch. Be careful, especially since conditions are often gusty and you may struggle on the slippery grass. There are many tall trees on the reverse slope behind the launch. There's only about 20 meters of clearance from the front of the launch to the trees, so be extra careful that you don't get pulled back by the venture and into the trees. A solid forward-launch with someone to assist you is highly recommended. There's only room for one glider on launch but there's a narrower area adjacent to the launch where two or three gliders can set up.
You can park along the roads in the fields just west of the launch. Be sure not to block the intersections or roadways. The walk from the wire fence to the launch site takes approximately ten minutes and descends gradually about twenty meters to a small stream (which may be dry during the summer) before a steep, paved climb up to the launch site. There's also a small clearing prior to the launch off the south side of the paved route which is flat and grassy--it's a good spot for camping if you want to make a fun weekend stay at the launch site or if you need a place out of the wind to prepare your equipment or take a lunch break.
