Rawaal is a nice site for summer flying. It does not work in winter as the winds are from north in winter, hence tail wind.
Car can be parked either at takeoff or landing. If Parked at landing zone, then have to hitch hike or travel with others to takeoff. There is no public transport to and from this site at all.
Coming from M2 Motorway, exit from Lilla interchange towards Pind Daadan Khan. Travel 26 kms to the end of the road. Take right from the T-junction. After 1 km turn left on Jhelum Road. Travel 20 Kms and at the PSO petrol Pump turn left. Travel 7 Kms and turn right towards Rawaal Village.
Travel straight to Takeoff site. On your way, you will cross the landing area next to a shrine on your right.
